Mission Statement
It’s hard enough to run a sustainable business competing with legacy establishments like McDonald’s, Burger King, and Chic-fil-a. These billion-dollar corporations have a huge advantage: you know what you’re going to get before you walk in the door, but they sacrifice the quality and creativity that small, locally-owned businesses have. Still, since COVID we’ve seen our neighborhood spots closing around us (at a rate even higher than before the pandemic), replaced too often with multinational chains.
Boston is in an age of gentrification, characterized by ultra-rapid development. We direct consumers to small businesses that are able to provide a quality of product that mega-chains can’t achieve.
